1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the website and services of the Bangladesh Cyber Institute, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
2. Services and Enrollment
2.1. Course Access: Access to purchased courses is granted immediately upon successful payment. Access is typically granted for the lifetime of the course unless otherwise specified.
2.2. Instructor-Led Courses: For live/scheduled courses, BCI reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances or low enrollment. Students will be notified promptly and offered alternatives or a full refund for that specific service.
2.3. Enrollment Verification: You warrant that all registration information you provide is accurate and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password.
3. Payment, Refunds, and Cancellations
3.1. Payment: All course fees are listed in BDT and are due in full at the time of enrollment unless a payment plan is specifically offered and agreed upon.
3.2. Refund Policy: Refunds are subject to our specific Refund Policy, which is incorporated by reference herein. Generally, full refunds are offered within [X days] of purchase, provided the student has accessed no more than [Y]% of the course material or before the start date of a live course. No refunds will be issued after the specified period.
3.3. Cancellation: Students may cancel enrollment, but refund eligibility remains subject to Section 3.2.
4. Intellectual Property and Usage License
4.1. Ownership: All content, materials, designs, videos, code, and curriculum provided by BCI are the exclusive property of BCI and are protected by copyright laws.
4.2. Usage License: BCI grants you a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the course material for your personal, non-commercial use only.
4.3. Prohibited Use: You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or sell any BCI content. Sharing login credentials or course access is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of your account without a refund.
5. Limitation of Liability
BCI and its instructors shall not be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on BCI’s website, even if BCI or a BCI authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.
6. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
